2003 - 2004 FBi RADIO
Imaging Producer - permanent part time

Employed from three months before the station went to air - was responsible for defining much of the 'on-air sound' of the station in its first 18 months of broadcast.
  • Produced all in-house content such as station ID's, station promos, show promos and special segments.
  • Developed and defined the 'voice of the station' in terms of production aesthetic, voices and communications modes.
  • Initiated and developed training regimes, workflows and procedures for volunteers to contribute and produce segments and audio resources for the station resulting in a cadre of trained production assistants that significantly increased the production departments output.

1996 - 1997 RADIO OUT THERE
(now defunct community station run by St Vincent DePaul Society creating content for COMRADSAT)
Studio Manager/Producer, responsible for producing all on-air segments, promos and idents, training volunteers and studio management.

1987-1990 RADIO BFM - AUCKLAND

At 16, Dan was the youngest on-air Presenter/DJ in New Zealand, trained in radio production, and long time volunteer producer. Well versed in all elements of on air sound, programming, play list maintenance and advertising production.
